whoa…

That was the best series finale I could have hoped for. It was just so smart. Ben was lying (again) and Locke was wasted in the end as the savior of…well I don’t know what, but he was wasted. Walt’s return was also unimpressive but at least curious. The series has met a sea change and we will have to wait for the next chapter to begin, but at least we still want to wait. It is certainly possible that they could rewind–”You weren’t supposed to do this…”.

Maybe Jack will have a chance to undo his fateful decision next season.

Why did Charlie lock himself in the hatch? He seemed to have enough time to get out and close the door. He must have wanted to die to fulfill the prophecy and save Claire.

Who was in the coffin? Who could the survivors hate so much? Locke? Ben? It was an inner city neighborhood in LA so who could it be? I’m flummoxed.

I loved the flash forward, I only caught on toward the end. I had placed it around Jack’s return from Thailand, initially, but it never made sense. Maybe I’m thick.

It really seemed to bother Jack when he read about the death but he was not a friend. Maybe it was his last chance to return to the island?

“We have to go back”

Indeed we do…

Yeah I’m totally pissed off about Charlie dying. Not so much that he actually died, but mainly because he WANTED to die. He succeeded in shutting off the signal, he contacted Penny, he had been fate it had seem. He chose to die, which is dumb because he really didn’t have to.

A better ending would’ve been Charlie thinking he had beaten fate, but then the door being shut or closed on him automatically and then the room flooding.

It was probably Walt’s dad. He betrayed them all and is the only black guy who would have made it off the island besides Walt.

    Michael…that does make sense…

Frankly, I’m pissed off. I don’t like seeing future events. This show is set up to keep you guessing what is going to happen next. We know whats going to happen next and since we do know the end, figuring out the middle ground isn’t the same. I think I’m done watching the show.

Hey everyone: I am glad to have found a Lost blog site that looks as nice as this one.

Here are some things to notice from the Season finale… let me know what you think!!

    1. Did you hear Jack say “Bring my father down here and if I am more drunk you can fire me!” His father is dead on the island… why is he alive in the future? Is anyone dead then?

    2. I know Naomi says that the flight has been found… but remember she could be lieing.

    3. Ben’s position is weird. He heard the threat that Jack would kill him but the plan was to spare the three Lostee’s life and make Jack believe they are dead. This in turn would cause Jack to contact the outside world! Also, Jacob told Lock to “help me.” I think Ben is bringing a new group onto the island or perhaps more troops and is no longer working on behalf of the island.

    4. In the last future clip, Kate says “I can’t be gone long or you know he will notice.” What’s that about? Is HE Sawyer, Ben, or a new character from a boat.

Let me know what you all think!

I don’t think Jack’s father is really alive - Jack’s just using his father’s name because he’s desperate to get the drugs. http://paullevinson.blogspot.com/2007/05/lost-season-3-finale-flashforwards.html

He did say “go get my father”. Maybe that was the drugs talking. The doctor did give him a quizzed look when he said that.

You know. It is possible that the helicopters do arrive and try to kill everybody and that is not how Jack and Kate got off the island. We don’t know when the flash forward takes place…

Maybe that accounts for the estranged behavior of Kate, and Jack for that matter. Maybe he feels responsible for so many deaths.

Charlie didn’t WANT to die. He couldnt latch the door from the outside.

I don’t think Michael was in the coffin. Just because the people on the plane might not have come he did have some family? If his ex wife is still alive she probibly would have come. I think it was bens funeral because he had no family or friends except for the people on the island. And i’m not entirely sure ben was lieing. Maybe the other people really are bad and ben is trying to protect the island, and thats why Jacon said “help me” which locke was trying to do by stopping Jack. I also think the “he” that kate was talk about was sawyer. I just think between Jack and Sawyer shes going to end up with one of them and i think it will be sawyer. Please write me back if you have any more comments or anything.
