Charlie not going to die

I don’t think Charlie is going to die next week or anytime soon because his story has not been fully revealed. Remember that he came to the island as an addict. However, in last week’s show, his brother stated something about Charlie being the only musician who is “drug-free.” We haven’t seen any backstory about the catalyst that drove him to start using drugs.  Therefore, there is more to reveal about Charlie’s past.

THoughts??

I fully agree, even though I wouldn’t mind Charlie dieing in the season finale but I think Desmond is either manipulating him or Desmond isn’t telling him the whole truth.

My guess: Desmond is making him sacrifice himself. And he believes if he were to sacrifice himself than the curse would subside.

I don’t think I agree, at least not for the original poster’s reason. I actually think we have seen that part of Charlie’s past (I don’t remember the exact episode), and I do think he will either die in the finale, or maybe the beginning of the next season, perhaps as a result of something that happens in the next episode.

I do like the theory about Desmond suspecting that the “curse” might go away if Charlie willingly makes the sacrifice (or at least the attempt). I guess it could go either way.

In one of the older episodes they show the first time Charlie used drugs after a big fight he had with his brother, where his brother puts him down big time.

I am not sure if Charlie will die or not, but I do believe the whole think was forseen by Desmon, and that Desmon knew Charlie would hit him in the head and head to the hatch himself. I think Desmon is aware of the whole thing.
