Hi - I’m new to this blog. I rented season 1 & 2 and am addicted. My cable station doesn’t have Lost 
so I’m stuck watching it on ABC.com… but that means I don’t get to see all the previews or know what’s going on. Were there 6 episodes this season (ending 11/8)… are there more? The last one they have on the website is where Kate and Sawyer slept together and Jack did the ’surgery’ on Ben. If the season’s done after 6 shows, when does it start again? I’m confused…
I’m guessing you may have found an answer to this one already, but the first six episodes of this season ran consecutively, then there will be a long break before the second part of the season, containing 18 new episodes. They’re saving them up for later so they can run them straight through with no commercials.
I didn’t find that answer yet - thanks! A long break after that though…. ugh! I find that very hard to believe… 18 episodes all at once without commercials… is that actually going to happen? I have never heard of such a thing…
Yeah, we’ve talked about it a few times before on here, but the basic summary is the “fans” were whining like babies last season every time there was a rerun, so they (for some reason) thought that they really needed to try and avoid them this season.
It’s a bad call in my book, and I won’t rehash that again here, but it is what it is. Of course, I will enjoy the straight run of the rest of the episodes in this season once we get to them in February, but I think overall it will have more negative than positive effects on the show.
Of course, I’m also pretty sure that after the next couple months the same people who were complaining about the reruns will be bitching about the long break too, so that will be funny.
Ah - I see I see. No reruns is cool, but the break is not so much… why didn’t they just start them 6 weeks earlier than Feb 3 with the ones we have seen? O well, what about the no commercial part?
Hi, I found an interesting site to download lost and watch it for free. You can watch it on a small screen like you would do it on a normal TV but via some of weird Chinese TV. Some episodes from season 3 are free to download the are MPEG4 and AVI format with some TV4 logo. All for free.
They have got the first 4 season 3 episodes and apparently more to come … just something to watch out !
