Lost commercial time

I’ve been quite behind lately on podcasts, and I’m just now catching some of the episodes regarding the Lost premier. Since I don’t read any other forums, etc. about Lost stuff, I wasn’t aware before this, but it seems like a lot of people were complaining about the premier having too many commercials.

Just to clarify for everyone: the premier was a normal length episode: ~42 minutes, so if you perceived that there was too much time taken up by commercials, it was probably just psychological because you were so excited about watching the episode.

I’d suggest recording it so you can skip them, if they really bother you that much.

Lost Easter Eggs

Lost Spoilers

Looks like the new character Paolo had a bigger scene last episode. More notable, Locke wasn’t caught in the cop bust and like some might think Locke didn’t shoot the cop. Or maybe they took these scenes out in order to change the story.

What They Said About Season 3.

ABC and the Lost Producers said that Ethan Rom and Boone will come back this season. Both of them have already made apperances and its only the third episode. They also said that someone was going to die. In the next episode it looks like Sawyer is going to die. I guess that these are all the secerets of Lost Season 3. Unless they didntt want to tell us some other important stuff.

My Season 3 Episode 3 thoughts

Just got around to watching this…

  • Good to see another Locke episode; great to see them getting back to making Locke a crazy guy as in the Season 1 “cool” kind of crazy, as opposed to the season 2 “wuss” kind of crazy.
  • Love Charlie’s wisecracks towards the beginning of this episode
  • The airport scene will be a source of many theories this season (as Dan already jumped on)
  • Regarding the whole future-seeing thing; I’m betting heavily on the taking of Jack, Kate, and Sawyer being related to the others “seeing” them be an integral part of something that will interfere with them later, and they are trying to prevent that from happening.

S3E3 – Polar Bear

Could Hurley be the Polar Bear? Just a joke since we know it’s not true but it was weird to see the bear stop the chase so Hurley could enter the scene.

Airport Scene S3E3

A little observation from last nights episode. No it has nothing to do with the whole time jumping that Desmond might be able to do, saving Locke and Echo while somehow losing his clothes.

In the airport scene, did you notice that Ben was working security for the airport and the only other person working for the airport was Hurley at the counter. Maybe he’s working in someway for Dharma. That would explain him being released from the Others last season. And him having millions might contribute to a funding of the project.

The other person somewhat “on staff” at the airport was Desmond. Looking like a pilot, but not working for the airport he could be the gatekeeper or the person responsible for their departure/escape.

The link between ”Lost” and ”Heroes”

Entertainment Weekly’s EW.com | Feature: Exclusive! The link between ”Lost” and ”Heroes”

RESPONSE FROM HEROES CREATOR TIM KRING Hey! Look at this! Turns out we’re onto something, at least in a wishful-thinking sort of way. Asked if Heroes and Lost are in a secret alliance, Kring says, ”Well… Damon and I did talk about a lot of stuff. And unfortunately, we’re on different networks, because otherwise, a lot of those things would have been really, really fun to have done.” By ‘’stuff,” do you mean you guys actually discussed the possibility of mythologically linked shows? ”Oh, yeah,” says Kring. ”We’ve talked a lot [in general] about how two shows could dovetail. But again, we are limited by the fact that we are on competing networks.” But couldn’t you guys conceivably do this idea without ever technically acknowledging it in any formal way? ”That’s true. That’s true,” says Kring with a laugh.

I know who pushed Lee(Jae?) out the window

It was Sun.

How do I know… let me give you the reasons…

The opening scene, the one about the maid, it is clear on that Sun has
guilt about not doing what is right.

When the blonde other confronts Sun on the boat she says “you are no
killer”, Sun promptly shoots her. Sun is a killer.

I theorize that we will see a flash back where Sun follows Jin after
dinner (When Jin stormed out all huffy) and then confront her lovers
and ultimately is involved with his falling out window.

What say you?

Love Triangle

Even though I don’t care, we all know that Kate will be choosing her mate this season. My theory is that Ben will make her choose, maybe by deciding which one lives or some other horrible method. It could be that she has to choose sides as well. Jack looks like he’s going to break and go to the other side. Kate looks like she might have and I’d assume Sawyer wont break, so she might have to decide that way as well.
