My latest “Henry” theory

I suspect that Henry meant for them to uncover his lie by digging up the grave. I say this because I think he wants them to get back into interrogating him more, so that he can find out through that how much they know.

The whole setup of the grave was to make it appear that they caught him in a lie, but in reality he started them on the trail of that con, which would result in them believing that they had the upper hand on him, and end up (in their overconfidence) revealing more information to him about what / how much they know, even if it’s in the midst of a brutal interrogation.

I believe he meant to get himself captured in the first place, in order to find out more info about the group of survivors. I also think that he was smiling when Locke was yelling through the door at him not only because he was happy that he had totally played Locke, but also because Locke was confirming (in his panic) that he had no clue about either the purpose behind the numbers or the map, and he desparately needed to see more.
