I don’t think so. I remember considering the possibility while watching the show, and so I was watching the guy’s face pretty closely. I think the eyes are totally different. I’ll try to do a screen shot later; just don’t have time right now.

It was interesting to see Kate’s dad on the truck though. It just makes me wonder that much more about whether all these people actually were interconnected before, or whether some of their memories are not completely accurate, and are being manipulated by some external force, although based on real events. I tend to believe the latter for now.

    I didn’t notice her Dad, that’s cool.

Yeah, I don’t agree with them being the same person. Zeke is a familiar actor to me but I just can’t figure out who he is. I’m sure you could find that out. And the guy with the glasses I’ve never seen before in any broadcast or film so like I said I don’t think so.

It’s very interesting though and with the memories being not what they really are, or that’s how the theory goes, they could very well be. Just not the same actors. But then Ethan could be Syide’s girl friend if that theory ran true.

A few screens of the mentor without glasses as requested:

I’m leaving them on for about a week from now before I remove them. Interesting thought, but probably not so in regards to the actor. Can anyone confim whether it’s the same actor or not?

Damnit, not accepting img scr html code!
Oh well, here are screens anyway:

Blazelion, you rule. I will have a closer look at them tonight. If you don’t mind I can add your images to the original post.

  6. dancameron says:

If he permits store them on your server so we don’t loose them.

-> lol, it’s not like I own the copyright of those pics, go for it. I love reading about “theories” like this, so thought I should contribute. I’m happy to be of help. :)

Thanks to your blog I found out what the symbols on the countdown timer meant. It’s been driving me up the wall since I watched that episode… >_

  8. Beau says:

I know that the actor playing the mentor is Clancy Brown. He was the “Kurgan” dude from the original “Highlander” film and was in the “Mighty Ducks” movies and “Starship Troopers”….He has also done an amazing amount of voice-overs for cartoon shows.

I don’t think Zeke is the same guy, unless they really really added on the eye bag make-up.

    I hope this helps

  9. Dan says:

Awesome, now I know where I saw him. Thanks.

  10. Captain Morgan says:

“The Mentor”, Joe Inman, Is played by Clancy Brown, who was only in one episode of LOST-”One of Them” according to IMDb. I remember Clancy as the main gurad from The Shawshank Redemtion.

  11. Jean-Guy says:

I think they are the same guy. You need to actually hear their voices though, that is a much better clue than looking at screen shots.

  12. jared says:

This is not even close to being the same guy.

  13. brian says:

Not the same guy. Zeke is played by M.C Gainey. Sayid’s Torture mentor is none other than Mr. Krabbs from Spongebob Squarepants (look it up).
